While I agree wholeheartedly about this Focus Blue, there are some people out there who would hear this script, start beaming with pride, and say how incredibly wonderful their life is/was.

Take my mom for instance. For 21 years, her sole purpose in life was to raise me and my little sister into not being complete idiots. While I hope to make her proud in that regard, it doesn’t demean her existence any just because she followed the script of a mother. We need those in life. Some people excel at it.

But I believe, for the majority, we all have a calling, a purpose to pursue, and you either succumb to the societal pressures of “the script,” or you say “fuck it” and do what you were born to do.

I choose the latter.
