“Eat what makes you feel alive.”
That’s been my mantra ever since coming to South Africa. Three months later, my attitude towards food has changed dramatically. Not only the what, but the when, where, and who play important roles in how your nutrition goes.
And, as I’ve discussed before, nutrition is 75% of the battle if your goal is to achieve an elite, upper-echelon physique.
Here is a breakdown of how I’ve eaten while in Cape Town and Durban. My hope is that I continue to eat this way, because it’s so damn effective! This structure has been pivotal in making my body leaner, more powerful, and lively than ever before.

Breakfast
Nope.
I fast in the AM. From when I wake up until about 1 PM (about 5–6 hours fasted while awake) I consume only two things: Water and coffee.
