This is huge. If you chase the money, if money is your sole goal, you will never reach that goal. Your content, your creation will NOT be genuine and honest and true to your passion. Whatever you make for the quick buck or get-rich-quick will have zero, ZERO value for your audience.

You have to give, constantly work to give others value, and eventually — throughout time, which necessitates patience — you will receive success and feel rewarded tenfold for your hard work.
