Oh that’s awesome Nicole! I get that at the collegiate level you probably got rather strong with lifts, but when it comes to moving our own bodies, it’s almost like a different plane of lifting entirely.
I love that you’ve incorporated gymnastic moves. Gymnasts are some of the fittest people on the planet, and it’s because they work on functional fitness, not ego lifting or compressing their spine every time they get under a bar.
In any case, it’s great to get outside and be a little closer to our natural surroundings. I feel it helps clear my mind and focus on moving my body.
