It’s all about your WHY.
In a previous article, I described my WHY as Health, Wealth, and Happiness:
- Health: Impressive physique, clean vegan eating, advanced calisthenics, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training — using a jump rope).
- Wealth: Make enough to travel the world year-round (~$40,000 for two), keep learning new skills and exploring cultures.
- Happiness: Spending time with Jess and family, being outside, writing.
To me, that’s more than enough to have a satisfying and enriching life. The question is: How do I accomplish all of these things?
Enter Cape Town, South Africa.
In an article I recently read, David Kadavy explains how amazing shifting your living is for your creative output. He says that a low-friction life, coupled with consistency and a forced disconnection is what is necessary for creative productivity optimization.
To me, Cape Town fits all of the criteria.
Low-friction life involves having consistent creative habits. My habit will be from 9:15 until noon I will be writing in a coffee shop. My goal is 1,500 words daily for my short stories/novel, and another…
