As I’ve said before, prioritize your health if you want success.

This is a deeper dive into the habits I implement to keep a healthy body. These habits help me focus on my ultimate priority: My passion, or my WHY, which is writing my novel and creating articles for you guys.

This is health habit #1.

Walking 3x a day

Let’s break this down: I walk 3 times every day, for an extended length. So each stroll I take is longer than 10 minutes and covers a lot of ground. I do this at least 3 times, which means I can go for as many walks as I want. But 3 is the absolute minimum.

Why walking?

According to a Tesco Living article, there are multiple benefits to walking. Moving like you were born to do decreases the risk of diseases like type 2 diabetes, dementia, and stroke, while boosting endorphins (the happiness hormone) and burning calories.

Also, walking is free. No gym membership, no equipment necessary. It has the path of least resistance — it’s harder to go to an exercise class than it is to walk to the grocery store. And you can multitask while mindlessly perusing your neighborhood; podcasts, audiobooks, talking to a…
